Battenberg Lace should be pressed while slightly damp. Gently stretch into shape with the reverse side upwards. Use press cloth to avoid the tip of iron tearing lace. Press instead of ironing. (Note: Pressing is placing iron on item with an up & down motion. Ironing is gliding iron back & forth over item.)
Use the same care as with Battenberg, only instead of stretching the item into shape, gently smooth with hands. Press the reverse side of item using a press cloth.
